Salem Sports Events recently supported the ECS / OCS Basketball Tournament at Mount Tabor High School through its Salem Stewardship & Impact Fund, bringing together schools from across the region for a day of competition and community engagement.
The tournament provided student-athletes in Exceptional Children Services (ECS) and Occupational Course of Study (OCS) programs with the opportunity to compete in a structured, high-energy environment. Teams delivered a strong level of play throughout the day, supported by an enthusiastic crowd that included Mount Tabor’s drumline and multiple cheer squads.
Beyond the competition, the event highlighted the importance of access to organized athletics, creating a platform for students to represent their schools, build confidence, and experience the spirit of team sports.
The tournament was made possible through the collaboration of organizers, sponsors, and volunteers, reinforcing Salem’s ongoing commitment to supporting meaningful community initiatives through the Stewardship & Impact Fund.
